Maybe it's because her hair is tightly coiled and has a very low porosity but it felt a bit hard. Maybe it's the protein in there that her hair reacted to. Not too much slip but that's never a deal breaker for me. I"m still getting flakes and its early days but I find that the shampoo foams really well and the conditioner sinks into my scalp and combs out easily when wet.

It's the first time that I use natural shampoo so I did not expect so little foam but I will figure it out and get used to it. Lovely smell, hair is bouncy and full of life afterwards!

I would not recommend it for people with dry hair. I put some coconut oil on the tips of my hair and that seems to balance it out for moisture.
