The original, and classic, homemade style Seville Orange Marmalade made from this beautiful orange fruit that is an ancient hybrid of the pomelo and the mandarin. Seville oranges are usually too bitter to eat, but with careful cooking and high quality natural ingredients, this beautiful orange jewel-coloured spread is made. Chaloner Seville Orange Marmalade is made from Seville oranges carefully grown and organically fertilised on the Chaloner family farm orchard in Stellenbosch, harvested at optimum ripeness, and processed in small batches, ensuring the very best flavours in every jar. A wonderfully balanced, traditional bitter sweet marmalade.

Never had a super sweet tooth.... This is lovely, especially with apricot kernel butter to enhance the bitter or with a neutral butter like the pumpkin seed butter. Also like the fact that it was made with brown sugar.

Thick, sweet and love that it has big slices of orange. Great on toast. In fact chaloner jams r great on anything.
