It has a great smell. The bottle isn't problematic if you have a syringe. Long story short, I suffered from adult acne and blemishes and The Apothecary is the only thing that finally nipped it in the bud. My only con is that the charcoal droplets go EVERYWHERE if you brush your teeth like a heathen (like me). Many natural products I've found have glycerin in them, which I have a bad reaction to, so when I saw this one was glycerin free I decided to try it. After just a few uses my skin is already clearing up significantly and it feels happy and hydrated. The oil is ever so slightly greasy and takes a while to absorb, but I think I'm using too much of it.
