Unlike most traditional bug repellants, it is not waxy or oily so you don't feel icky sticky after application. And who said it's for kids?! We went camping a few weeks ago in the peak of summer and this totally saved us. And the smell goes away once it settles, plus we're also used to it now. Sometimes we spray it into the air, and other times onto ourselves. Although it does not work as well as those nasty commercial products (have to reapply every 3 hours), the ease of mind that it is not harmful to you or your close ones make up for it.
I, personally, like the consistency - it's not whitening or greasy.

I have very sensitive skin and this product didn't make me break out. It doesn't leave stains/ oily residue on sheets and it actually works really well! You don't even need to cover your whole body with it, just here-and-there and you are good to go. we love the spray it works so well and we only spray once at night and once during the day.
