Beautiful Biodegradables is the culmination of a lifelong dream to develop solutions to some of the environmental and social problems South Africa faces. Single use plastics and rampant unemployment offered plenty of room to start making that difference, so they developed a range of products that are 100% plant based, biodegradable and compostable. Their compostable plates for example are made from bagasse, a sugar-cane product which is much stronger than paper, and is naturally white without any bleach.
