It saves space and it is easy to use. We have been using less ziplock baggies because we have these. The small mouth of the bag is a little limiting and the price makes you think twice. I do love that it goes in the dishwasher, fridge, microwave, etc. so am pretty sure I can use it. At the moment I have some raw meat in it in the freezer and it does take up less space than a tupperware. However, if you compare it with tupperware price-wise, I'm not sure I'll buy more.
