I bought this as a gift, but I took over caring for it as it was just so much fun. We harvested our first flush recently and the mushrooms were delicious. This is a good gift for an adult but I imagine it would also be a fun project for children. One improvement would be to tweak the instructions for use slightly and have the illustrations be a little clearer.
