i find this soap cleansing and mildly exfoliating. it does not aggravate my acne and even though it s deeply cleansing, it does not dry my skin out. i found that the charcoal grains were mostly at the top of the soap and they eventually came off as i used the soap, leaving only the creamy soap; the charcoal is basically not evenly distributed throughout the soap, which is a disadvantage.
