I bought this product as my young son gets so many mozzie bites despite all the various prevention methods we use, that he looks like he has chicken pox. I tried putting antihistamine creams and other insect-bite ointments on, but he still scratches them open in his sleep and they then take weeks to heal. However, having used Greenaways one night, I was amazed to find that not only did he not scratch any bites open, all of them were almost completely gone!
I have used this ointment for other skin irritations with equal success. There is one disappointment, however, that if a bite has been scratched open already, the ointment doesn work as amazingly well as if you put it on unbroken skin.
