I like liquorice and was intrigued by this combo, but the liquorice does not work with the dark chocolate at all. At first, I could not taste the liquorice, and then I got the aftertaste.
The chocolate is very dark (obviously, as there is no dairy) and the liquorice afer-taste is actually rather horrible.
It would be better to leave it out of the ingredients in this instance.
The centre is actually quite caramel-like in consistency though. That was a pleasant surprise :-)
The orange flavoured one is SOOOO much nicer!
