I have naturally curly hair, not very thick, so I don't like things that weigh it down. After washing my hair and letting a towel turban take the big drips out I squeeze a blob of this into my palm and cover both hands with it, the backs as well; I then stick my head upside down and run my fingers evenly throughout my hair. Then I tip my head back up and use my fingers to encourage a few of the front and top sections of hair into corkscrews by just lightly twirling. I will mostly dry my hair upside down with a diffuser after this or let it dry naturally if the weather is warm and I'm not off out anywhere. It does feel sticky on the hands but a bit of soap and water gets it off nicely. The next morning to reactivate my curls I spritz with a little water in a spray bottle and smooth away the fuzzies with a tiny bit of this or some hair oil. As a styling aid it doesn really work for me. It also makes my hands really sticky. They still feel sticky even after I wash them.
