Another award winning wine from Lazanou Vineyards, this Organic 2014 Chenin Blanc is medium bodied and has a vibrant acidity with notes of honey and citrus, and creamy yet spicy undertones. This wine is a great compliment to mild and white-rind cheeses like brie and goats cheese, and anything with a sweet and sour element. Chenin Blanc is known for going especially well with seafood like scallops, and it can handle an element of fruitiness in a dish. This unoaked Lazanou wine can be a wonderful friend to take to a dinner party, with enough gusto to moisten any overcooked bird.
