However, this soap barely lathers at all! It takes me 25 MINUTES to bath my poor Rottweiler! I have to bath one leg at a time. It is almost as strenuous as cleaning the oven from the desperate effort to get up an adequate lather to wash her properly. I am just relieved that because you have to work so hard to get any suds it's only going to last 4 washes. I have bathed her twice and it's half gone. Will never buy it again. I assume it's the clay which has such a mild softening effect on the coat which destroys its lathering ability. Would only recommend it for a small dog with a short coat that needs help with a sensitive skin. Also, being natural, I'm not too concerned if I don't manage to get it all completely rinsed off.
