I have connected it to my main feed but not the main tap. (blocked that part of the t off) so the wate comes from the main feed throug the system and only out of the tap provided not the main houshold tap. Green Regards23/06/2017, By AyandaLove this RO system. Affordable and makes delicious water. We already had a separate "beverage faucet" (with simple inline carbon filter) mounted on our sink so it was pretty much plug and play
