It is very heavy and I need to be careful when working around glass / ceramic items, but it is durable and I quite like the 'solidity' of the pan. So when you find it, buy it and hold onto it. Because this is highly beneficial to cook with. It's heavy, and comes with a little maintenance... but it's worth the trouble for the sake of your health04/05/2016, By AbigailThe pan is very heavy and the finish is quite rough but with that said I would highly recommend this pan. You will just have to make sure that you seal the pan after every use by lightly rubbing oil on it before putting it away or just make sure that it has been dried properly. It is such great buy and yes it is good value for money.
