Can relate to a previous review saying the bowl does not fit snuggly on the base (for 2 out of 5 of the ones I got), however, this is great for slow release of the scent. the hotter the water gets over time the more the scent grows. I loved this! Recently started exploring the uses of various oils, and thought it would be great to add a burner to my home and it's working really well so far. I much prefer the white over the brown clay look, as it's more modern looking. My sort of OCD self was put off by its lack of perfect symmetry though, when it first arrived, but since I started using it, it doesn't bother me anymore. Looks very pretty, actually. The lid does indeed not fit snuggly, but I didnt find this to be a problem. I use it mainly with "Lavendar in Lavendar Hill" lavendar oil and it smells lovely! Love that I don't have to refill it often... and honestly, it is pretty easy to use, even for a beginning like me. Would certainly make a great gift.
