For a household of two, we do tend to take a while to fill it up, but the clever filter in the top of it means no horrible odours come out of the bin if things start getting a bit vrot inside. Also, we had a cockroach problem this summer, and I was relieved that they couldn't seem to find a way into this bin, which was a relief.04/02/2016, By SheenaI have been keeping our kitchen refuse in a ugly plastic bucket for our worm farm for years so am grateful now for the smart looking metal box. It is quite small meaning that I need to empty it daily into the wormery but is looks clean and neat and I have not been able to detect any smell. They are absolutely fabulous!! No more trekking out to the compost heap every time I prepare food - just stick it all in this bin empty into compost every day or two. It doesn smell the veg peals etc. start to compost while in there. Super easy to wash too!! Highly recommended!!
