I add a teaspoon to my dogs' breakfast and dinner daily and it keeps them healthy and gives them an added boost when they need it. My mom has also suffered from UTI's after menopause and after her hysterectomy and she takes 2 teaspoons daily and has reported no UTI's or discomfort for many months now. The liquid has no noticeable smell and it is tasteless, so you can add it to your cereal or glass of water.
