Growing Paper make their own paper from post consumer waste paper and process it to make their lovely range of environmentally responsible cards. Since the paper making process uses large amounts of water, they reuse their wastewater for farming activities on the farm they are situated.

I buy these all the time so I always have gift tags in my cupboard. They're small - so not cards, just tags that can be easily tied to bottles of wine or stuck onto a gift wrapped present. They're great as they can be planted after use - and even if they aren't planted, they'll biodegrade. The cardboard is really absorbent (cos it's biodegradable) so use a ballpoint pen or pencil as fineliners/gel pens will bleed as you write.
