This is a truly beautiful handcrafted wrist wrap, traditionally known as a japamala. You can wear this lovely sandalwood bracelet wrapped around your wrist when you meditate to keep count of your mantra repetitions; or you can carry them with you as a reminder of your spiritual path. The japamala includes 108 beads; this is a sacred number in Buddhism and Hinduism, and they are made from white sandalwood, which also has sacred status. This gorgeous wooden bracelet also includes 16 counting beads (marker beads). It’s a lovingly made meditation accessory, and a great gift.

This is perfect for what I wanted from this product: Mala beads that go around my wrist and which I can take with me every day. In other words, it has an elastic. The beads are smaller than they seem in the picture, or perhaps I just expected a little different because I have other mala strings, but I am quite happy with this product.
