I purchased this honey and Mac's Eucalyptus Honey a short while ago, with the idea in mind to try out different kinds of honey from different brands. I use honey mainly as a morning facial cleanser and in a mint green tea & lemon juice daily detox beverage. I personally LOVE Mac's Eucalyptus Honey as it has a sweeter taste to it (and no awful after taste) and it smells AMAZING! Whereas this honey, I really dislike. As a cleanser which I leave on my face for +/-3 min it smells horrible too. Then again, my partner says he likes it although, when we had Mac's- at the same time, he kept stealing Mac's Eucalyptus Honey from my bathroom shelf to use instead of Simply bee's. It comes down to taste preference. I'd recommend giving both a try.

I ordered Simply Bee honey in Feb 2017. We eat honey every day on our porridge and my kids love honey. we found the taste bitter and my kids refused to eat it. Not sure if I just got a bad batch but I can recommend it at all.

It was my first bottle Ive purchased of it (I purchased it because the honey I wanted was sold out at the time) but maybe I also received a ad batch, the taste was -really- dissatisfactory to my palate. :/ (it tasted bad in drinks like lemon water tea, but not so bad in a meal I had which was cooked oats)

on-honey like aroma and taste (straight out the bottle), and the
aw part is settled at the bottom of the bottle, with the liquid part separated at the top. But I use it primarily as a sweetener in Paleo treats, and for my morning wake-up drink of hot water, cinnamon, fresh lemon juice, and of course honey! So a good mix, and it is ready to go :)

I have to disagree with the previous reviews. I love the Simply Bee Honey, normally purchase it from the market. Honey is like a wine, different plants, different area, and the result is a different taste. Fynbos Honey differs all year round due to the different plants the bees are getting there honey from. Round about January to April the honey can taste rather strong and become very dark too due to the Buchu plant that blossom during this time.

It had a horrible taste and smell, never tasted a honey like that ever before... Really can seem to understand what caused it to be like that..

I have tried 3 bottles of this honey - the first two were delicious, but the third was horrible - I cannot use it. It has bits of comb/something else in it, which is understandable, but I think that affected the flavour.

Ive used many honeys before and I found this one has the most peculiar smell and taste. My children are not enjoying it - Ill try a different flavor!

As explained to me by the suppliers, Simply Bee, this honey may have little pieces of honey comb pollen coming directly from the hive floating on the top when one opens the bottle for the first time, as it is truly raw honey. It did not go through all the fine commercial filtering processes and as a result it contains all the natural goodness and benefits that raw honey is supposed to have. Highly recommended.

I love honey, this honey is collected through ethical means. A raw natural product that has many uses and benefits. Generally I replace sugar (particularly) in my rooibos tea with honey. Today I had a bit of a sore throat, swallowed a little bit of honey and there was immediate relief at the same time got what I think is a mosquito bite on my face i applied a little honey and again i got immediate relief.
