I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but I seem to be reacting badly to this powder, since I switched over I've had a couple mornings where I get really nauseated and get stomach cramps after drinking this. I could be wrong, maybe it's something else, but it doesn't seem to happen on mornings where I don't drink the Shake. It tastes great in a smoothie blended with a frozen banana and almond milk - my daily chocolate milkshake :) also the texture of plant based proteins tend to be quite floury/grainy but this one is surprisingly smooth. When i ran out of almond milk and honey, I added cold water, ice blocks and frozen banana only and that is what I stuck with:) I love my smoothie really cold hence the ice blocks, I love the taste, texture and it is filling.

I thought Id give The Phyto Pro Chocolate Protein Shake I try as an alternative, and it also works out cheaper then buying natures choice whey.
My first reaction was that this stuff is revolting. It has a funny aftertaste which after my second serving I realised is actually from the stevia. I don like the taste of stevia at all. Its a pity they didn just use xylitol.
I find I don like the texture much either when mixed just with water, but this is an easy fix by adding half a banana in the blender.30/06/2015, By SaskiaSome people reviewed this as disgusting. I completely disagree. If you are a vegan, then this is one of the best protein shakes. Generally vegan protein shakes don taste great. This one tastes great! I find it should be mixed with water instead of non-diary milk, ask it otherwise tastes very flouery. I take this flavour in the morning before going to gym. It is nice and filling if you don eat before working out. I then take the Phyto Pro Active Shake after my workouts (it is specially formulated for that). I never get cramps or feel weak. This is the best workout nutrition and I highly recommend it.

I add some glucomannan for fibre, and hemp protein too. I love that this shake consists of 4 ingredients, with none of the usual crap you find in commercial protein shakes.

We use it in a smoothie with soy milk, chilled rooibos, Future Life cereal, peanut butter, honey and banana. I have also used it in home-made energy bars and it adds a nice flavour to those as well.
