18/03/2019, By the_canzThe problem with this toothpaste is that the bicarb is heavier than the coconut oil, so when it is cooler and is more solid, you have to melt it, which is inconvenient. My teeth also just don't feel terribly clean afterwards.26/10/2018, By AnitaI scoop some out and let it melt in my mouth, then swish it around before brushing. Bicarbonate of soda tends to settle to bottom of jar and this section is very salty. My teeth have become much whiter since using this toothpaste.12/03/2018, By CarinaThe toothpaste isn't the same consistency as regular toothpaste. Its quite hard and has to melt in your mouth first. The taste is also not very pleasant.09/01/2018, By AmberI bought this toothpaste for my dogs. They dont mind the taste of it at all and it seems to really well23/11/2017, By KimI love the glass jar, but the toothpaste is nice too. It is quite mild and takes some getting used to after traditional foaming toothpastes, but I thought left teeth feeling wonderfully clean, with a nice fresh, gentle taste. Best of all my kids adore it. A winner!06/10/2017, By PreciousIt is okay - glad I tried it but will keep looking for something better for our home09/08/2017, By MartiThis is far too oily and waxy. My teeth do not feel clean or fresh afterwards. I liked the glass jar but that was all.04/08/2017, By BrokkleStrange stuff. In my opinion it doesn't clean properly. My mouth feels neither fresh nor clean. It's oily and inconvenient to scoop out of a glass jar. Prefer using foaming toothpaste.21/02/2017, By AngieI just scoop some out with a spoon, whitens teeth nicely and very pleasant - love this! Ive recently learned oil pulling is a waste of your time, and only if you brush with coconut oil are you actually only able to protect your gums from bacteria, so this works out nicely ... once Ive rinsed I then brush with a little extra plain coconut oil as your not suppose to rinse after that, in order to keep your gums protected!21/06/2016, By WillemienTaste is something to get used to, but paifull gums is history!18/01/2016, By AlexI have to agree with the other reviewer. This product just isn practical. The recent heat wave turned the entire bottle into a liquid making it barely usable. I also found the easiest way to get it onto the toothbrush was to just dunk the toothbrush in... but that isn hygenic even with my steripods.
It leaves oily residue all over the place, it drizzles down the toothbrush and down my arm.. ends up on the counter top and turn my basin area into sludgy oily mess.
If the developers could find a way to make the product more consistent and temperature tolerable as well as putting it into a proper toothpaste tube.. might be worth revisiting. Until then I cannot endorse this.12/01/2016, By Thavashnithe toothpaste taste fine if you don mind the coconut taste which I don . Thats unfortunately the only good thing I have to say. As is usual with coconut oil products anything added tends to settle. In the current heat wave the toothpaste is liquid and impossible to use. Putting it in the fridge makes it too hard. Its also in a bottle which means you need a spoon to get it out and to mix it. It really doesn clean well at all and leaves an oily residue everywhere. Straight into the recycling! Really not a good product.
