After application, I put the residue on my fingers onto areas where I'd put perfume. Smells great all day. Very subtle. I found that it works pretty well on some days and warmer days not so much. The first time I used it the bottle was warm and the product melted, but it worked a lot better than when it hardened. Not sure why that is, perhaps I applied more as a liquid. I don't like the grainy, sand-like feel it creates on application. I was sceptical, but this stuff really works. I'm not mad on floral smells, but this is pleasant and not too overpowering. It doesn't irritate my skin, even when newly shaved, and it lasts for hours. Product is a bit granular when applied (probably the bicarb).
Make sure you rub it in well and doesn't come into contact with your clothes, especially black.
