Yes, it can be quite hectic on your ends, but this is by far the best alternative I've found up till now. I have thick waist/hip length hair, and bought 2 boxes as the length of my hair usually calls for 2 or 3 boxes. It is nice and thick, making it easier to colour with, and it wipes off easily without staining your skin. It stains for a while when your hair is whet, so I wouldn't recommend using light coloured towels, and it doesn't wash out too quickly to become dull either.
