It mixes easily with water, creating a soft, creamy foam. No nasty ingredients and doesn't dry or stress skin out. Two things I don't like about it: the smell - it's like a woody, spicy, slightly floral aroma (fragrance free would be much preferred), and the weird shape of the bottle - it's too tall and the pump is very high up. It's just a bit uncomfortable to use. Overall a good, cost-effective cleanser. It's super foamy and you only need half a pump to get a good lather going. The lather feels soft and rather gentle, which is great for me as cleansers tend too feel a bit "hard" on my skin while I'm washing. It dries my skin out a bit before applying moisturizer, but yet again I have a dry skin in general so most washes do that. My skin feels softer than it did before I switched to this product.
I like the natural, woody smell. All in all, no complaints so far!06/10/2018, By HaanimIt could be more because I have hormonal acne and this product is not suited for that but my skin is really inflamed and looked better using the Esse product range.
I especially find the the Esse refining cleanser and gel to be really effective in reducing inflammation, clearing my skin and making it glow. Generally my sense is also, the less and purely organic ingredients the better.
This is what Im going to try now. ACV and primrose oil for the evening....Going back to ESSE range/Pradiance, taking L-Lysine supplement and trying to eat clean, exercise regurlarly, meditate and journal . All of which I'm already doing just need to get better at it.

The product information indicated that this product can be used as a shampoo.
