Sometimes there is need for a moisturising cleansing layer after washing my face with this as it can sometimes leave my skin feeling little dry. My face feels clean and soft after cleansing with no drying out whatsoever. A little goes a long way - you don't need a full pump's worth for washing (a 20c coin sized blob works for me). I struggle with oil balance on my face and quickly develop an acne reaction with too much moisture or eczema with too harsh drying. This soap walks the line between too much and too little perfectly leaving my skin blissfully happy. I saw an improvement in my skin from the first wash (believe it or not) - reduced acne as well as a healthy glow. The only thing I am not overjoyed about with this product is the extremely strong floral scent but that is a personal preference for scents I think and I got used to it very quickly. I will buy this soap again and again and again. The only improvement they could possibly make would be to swap out the plastic for something more environmentally friendly. The bentonite and magnesium are known oil regulators, so this will be great for people with oilier skin. That been said, I started using it as shampoo and it's great! I can now wash every other day and no conditioner needed (I have fine, shoulder length hair that is slightly wavy). From Faithful to Nature's site I have tried Skin Creamery, Earthsap and Esse cleansers, but this one is the best. It cleans without overdrying and lasts quite a while.
The essential oils not only lifts off make-up at the end of a long day, but the smell is also a great pick-me-up.
