It removes make-up well, but I would not use it around my eyes as it burns when it comes in contact with them. The smell is pleasant, and gentle, almost like licorice. I would buy it again. My breakouts seem less, and my skin less oily - this must be because it doesn't over-cleanse. I would recommend using a warm, damp cloth or micellar water to remove the worst of the day's dirt and then using a tiny amount of this wash afterwards. Ok, it does burn the eyes and takes lots of water to rinse. But it left my skin feeling clean and fresh. Unfortunately after 2 days, I started having pimples, and I almost never have. So I put it aside. I started using it again 3 days ago, and yesterday another pimple. That is it, not for me. But many other people seem to like it. I've only just recently learned that I have dry skin and not oily skin. My skin was only oily because it was dry!
I really love this product because my skin has never been brighter, and so smooth! The scent (which a lot of folks moaned about) is very subtle and a little goes a long way. Not too great for makeup removal, so I suggest to use it in the morning maybe or after you cleaned your make up off. Its very liquid, not gel like as some other face washes, so be careful. One squirt is enough for a great foam. Cleans really well. Avoid getting it in your eyes as it can sting. Can imagine this would be great for acne prone skins as well.
