I have a combination skin and can notice my skin is less oily after only a few days. You should actually have a look at your pores after washing. The first time i washed i did notice a slight burning feeling but it was only on my forehead where there were spots (pimples) and on the side of my mouth where i had dermatitis. But this burning was almost like it was drying it up. The dermatitis on the right side of my mouth is nearly gone and i have battled with it for over 6 months. My skin is starting to look good. I think it works best for oily skin types however, so proceed with caution if your skin is more on the drier side.
I love that the one bar can have such multiple uses. I use it as a facial bar and even a shampoo (its lather game is strong!!). I had a rash on my neck and just using this to wash my neck dealt with the problem.
