In that the bottle I received had a plastic push pump instead of a metal lid. From the illustration I presumed it was a plastic free product. The glass bottle and label are lovely however. I live in a very hard water area and wonder if that is why it does not lather sufficiently ?

It is slightly pricey so I do not buy it often but when when I do I can feel the difference on my skin. Very good quality product!
