I did quite a bit of research on re-usable nappies in the beginning but wasn't sure how good they would turn out to be. But I just did not want to use disposable nappies for many reasons. I also bought a few different types of re-usable nappies to see which would work best. These fancy pants in my opinion are the best. They fit really well, wash well and I just love them. I used disposable for the first week after giving birth when we were in the clinic because of the lack of washing facilities and I have to say these wash-able nappies work better than even high brand disposables. They are a bit of an investment in terms of cost in the beginning but my calculation was that I will be saving money once my daughter is 5 to 6 months old.11/11/2017, By NadineThis was going to be the first of many cloth nappies I was going to try, but I loved it so much I never bought any others. It doesn’t leak, it’s absorbant ( my baby needs only one inner during the day, it’s also less chunky), he sleeps thr ough the night with them, no rashes, no bum cream, plus it looks AWESOME. The microfibre insert is great on its own or paired with a bamboo insert for night time. There are lots of popper options for sizes which makes for maximum adjustability. Fancy Pants were the first ones we tried and tested and I must admit, its still one of my favourites! With one insert, the nappy is very trim and my baby can wear her
ormal clothes (some nappies are very bulky, so some pants won fit).
I must admit, we don use these for night time nappies as they leak a little bit, but I love it as a daytime nappy - it needs to be changed every two hours or so (like a disposable).
When I bought these, FP only had the Micro Fibre inserts, so Im very excited about the bamboo inserts that theyve added to their range! I will recommend this to anyone as a daytime nappy. :)12/01/2014, By kayThese are good nappies. I have been using them for about 3 months so far. My only issue with these is they can take a while to dry. I realise this is the exact opposite opinion of the review above but that is my experience.
They are cute looking and easy to use which means they are good at helping family and friends get their heads around changing a cloth nappy. Occasional they leak urine but they have never leaked poop - even with big blowouts.
The components are sturdy. Sturdy clips, good materials. They wash very easily.02/07/2011, By DominiqueEverybody is very dubious when I tell them that we are using reusable nappies, but what a pleasure to use! The Fancy Pants nappy dries very quickly, the pocket system is easy to use and the fun colours make them more interesting than normal nappies. We have been using reusable nappies for 2 weeks and we have already saved 100 nappies! What a money-saver!
