It also takes extra rinsing as it has a stucky oily texture. The soap bar version of this is my favourite, my sensitive skin appreciates there being no essential oils. I tried this as a body wash and shampoo (twice after a reaction to a shampoo while it was calming. The soap is very watery and runs out of my hands, so I feel Im using much more than necessary (than if it was slightly thicker). Its also not great as a shampoo as it doesn lather and leaves my daughters hair looking oily.

My son screams his head off when we use this soap as it burns his eyes. Leaves mine feeling red and sore too. Its also very watery. Don like it.26/04/2016, By EsmeI don know whether its meant to be like that, but I found this soap to be very watery, meaning a lot of product is wasted upon application and I found I had to use much more to get it foaming so that the bottle didn last very long in the end. The smell also wasn great. One good thing though was that it never left my skin feeling dry. It really clings to the hands so you have to scrub longer to get it off, and it does have a faint smell- of rancid olive oil. Texture was too liquid, so it doesn pump where you expect it to, so we had a lot of guests getting soap on the counter or going over the basin. love it.26/12/2014, By MeganThis product is very mild as a body wash, however, as a hairdresser, I have been struggling to find something gentle and natural to cleanse my scalp. My son and I suffers from a hereditary scalp condition which is often confused with dandruff. I have recently started using it and already see a 95% improvement. Its also perfect for or our dry hair as the product is olive oil based. It might take one, maybe two washes to get use to this completely sulfate free product.11/05/2014, By TerriI purchased this product to be used as a baby wash and shampoo for my 2 year old as he has sensitive skin and therefore try to stick to products with simple natural ingredients. Please do not use this on kids as a shampoo unless you want a screaming toddler. I couldnt understand why my son kept crying at bath time which was unusual, until I decided to try it out as a face wash and realised that this really stings your eyes. I think using it as a face wash is ok for adults, it does feel quite cleansing although it does not lather. Just dont accidentally get any in your eyes and do not use on kids.09/10/2011, By IlseI am shockingly dissapointed in this product. though I love the Simple Pure olive soap, the bodywash needs a lot of improvement. It doesnt foam.... at all. I find myself having to use a large quantity to wash each area.... thus obviously you use it finish quicker.
I think Pure Simple should stick to their soaps and not venture any further into the bodywashes.
Thank goodness I bought my trusty Earthsap bodywash alongside this one... so I had a backup at least. O_0
